My family recently placed our family home with Professsionals after looking closely at 3 large agencies in Palmerston North. What made them stand out from the others from day one was their superior communication skills, and obvious attention to detail. We had immediate dealings with the owner of the company Max Vertongen and his Sales Manager Warren, because the agent we had chosen (Lee Vertongen) was away that week on holiday. I was very impressed with that responsiveness. Lee then contacted me from his holiday venue in Queenstown the next day, indicating these guys were really on the ball when it came to customer service and following up.
After a week of careful scrutiny of the offers from the 3 agencies, we chose the Professionals, what a sensational choice that turned out to be!
Lee turned out to be the perfect agent for our family, his communications to me over the next month were regular and detailed and his diligence in drumming up a large body of interested potential clients was impressive. Early in the game, he introduced me to Andy Stewart the firm's auctioneer, once again a very professional and great communicator, and we had several discussions as to how to maximise the approach, as the property was being auctioned.
The team work demonstrated by the entire group of agents also impressed, and many of the agents were involved in showing potential owners through the property over the next 3 weeks, which is a great asset in building demand.
In the last week of September, the property sold via auction, the auction room bulging at the seams with 55 potential bidders and sold with a sensational price achieved that was 40% above the registered valuation of the property, an outstanding result, we could not have been happier!
So to summarise, I cannot recommend Lee Vertongen or Professionals highly enough, they aren't the cheapest agents in town, but as I always like to say: "Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten" and these guys delivered in spades, delivered a truly excellent service and ultimately a stunning sales result, and lived up to a their namesake in offering truly professional service throughout the term of our engagement, thank you so much guys, outstanding work!"
